This beautiful painting is of the River Meuse at Dinant in Southern Belgium. In 1946 Belgium's Prince Regent invited Churchill to make a private visit to the region, which inspired a number of works. Enjoy the light, clean fragrace whose heart of French Lavender blends into a soft, woody base.
James "Jimmy" Bronnley was 19 when he founded H. Bronnley & Co. in 1884 after studying perfumery and the traditional art of soap making in Paris.
