James "Jimmy" Bronnley was 19 when he founded H. Bronnley & Co. in 1884 after studying perfumery and the traditional art of soap making in Paris.  Jimmy prded himself on using only the finest natural ingredients sourced from around the world to produce his handmade superior quality soaps and toiletries and this soon earned him the reputation of "maker of the best soaps in the world".  125 years on, Bronnley continue to produce handmade soaps and toiletries in the heart of the English country side using Jimmy's traditional methods and recipes.
